Job Brief
We are looking for an experienced candidate to write robust, beautiful and responsive web applications. You will be responsible for building and maintaining said applications while adding features to serve business needs. The ideal candidate will know their way around a frontend web framework and a backend framework like micronaut.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain API’s for search and other ongoing projects
- Create pixel perfect web pages from wireframes
- Integrate API services
- Build highly scalable APIs that are deployed via CI/CD pipelines
- Participate in the development lifecycle to develop new features and functionalities for Meetkai Backend
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in java/kotlin, golang, or python
- 2+ years of experience working with a database such as Postgres, Redis, MySql
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Deployment
- Experience with Event Driven Architecture (kafka, rabbitmq, redis streams)
Nice to have
- Experience with responsive web design techniques like CSS flexbox
- Experience working with front end languages like JavaScript
- Experience working on server-side web applications
- Fluency in a 2nd language: Spanish, German, French, Chinese, Indonesian, Italian
